David Cappillo is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Technology Companies Groups. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and growth equity, securities laws and technology licensing areas, with a focus on counseling growth-oriented companies. Mr. Cappillo is a key contributor to the Goodwin Procter Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community.
Mr. Cappillo represents private and public growth companies in a variety of industries, including software-as-a-service, enterprise software, consumer Internet, e-commerce, marketplaces, IT services and energy. He counsels his clients on corporate finance matters, equity fundraising activities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, start-up and formation matters, recapitalizations and reorganizations, joint venture and strategic commercial transactions and international expansion.
