David W. Cartwright

David Cartwright is a former real estate partner and currently Of Counsel in O’Melveny’s Century City office. David’s specific areas of practice have included real property acquisitions, leasing, construction, land use, public contracts, public/private joint ventures, natural resources, and general real estate law. In recent years, David has assisted many O’Melveny clients with the development and implementation of a corporate real estate strategy. Elements of the strategy may include turnkey development, leasing and subleasing, design and construction contracts, development agreements, design/build, California Environmental Quality Act compliance, and financing. David has managed projects in China, Hong Kong, Japan, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Mexico, and Indonesia, in addition to his work in the United States. As a result he is conversant with real estate markets throughout the world.
