Dean M. Victor is special counsel and a litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. His practice focuses on litigation services, with a concentration in real estate taxation. Mr. Victor is a member of the firm's Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Victor was supervisor of the Real Estate Tax Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, where he regularly represented the Cook County assessor, board of review, treasurer, and clerk in all real estate tax matters.

Mr. Victor has represented hundreds of property owners throughout Cook, Lake, and DuPage counties, on real estate tax matters at all stages of the assessment process. His clients range from family businesses to national companies and not-for-profit organizations. The types of properties that Mr. Victor has represented before the various assessment agencies include office buildings, apartment buildings, factories, warehouses, hotels, airport hangars, health care facilities, and shopping centers.
