Dustin is a litigator in the firm’s Financial Industry Group with a decade of experience representing and counseling banks and other financial services companies faced with complex litigation, including putative class actions, in State and Federal courts throughout the country. He maintains a diverse practice, successfully defending and resolving claims arising out of a broad range of categories, including residential mortgage lending, loan servicing, auction rate securities, securities lending, consumer banking, and credit cards. Dustin has significant experience defending a variety of claims in these areas, including securities fraud, aiding and abetting Ponzi schemes, civil conspiracy, statutory claims brought under the UCC, RICO, RESPA, TILA, HOEPA, FCRA, FDCPA, BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, state high cost and second mortgage loan statutes, and state consumer protection statutes.

He currently manages a large, nationwide portfolio of mortgage-related cases for one of the largest residential mortgage servicers in the nation, negotiating numerous settlements and successfully defending countless other cases at both the trial and appellate courts.

Dustin is also actively involved in pro bono and served as lead trial counsel in a pro bono trial in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, bringing Constitutional claims based upon the execution of an unconstitutional all persons present search warrant at a public gathering.
