Elizabeth E. Harris is senior counsel in New York’s private client services section of the tax practice.

Practice & Background

Ms. Harris provides wealthy families with a broad range of estate and trust planning and administration services. She advises individuals regarding comprehensive wealth management strategies, succession planning and charitable giving techniques. She also counsels executors and trustees with respect to fiduciary and tax obligations in complex estate and trust administration matters.

Ms. Harris has extensive experience advising U.S. and foreign clients on U.S. estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax laws and coordinating worldwide estate planning and estate administration for clients having contacts with more than one country.

Ms. Harris works closely with the firm’s investment management practice group, providing estate planning advice to private investment fund managers and others in connection with the structuring and operation of such funds.
