Elizabeth L. Dicus

Libby Dicus focuses on representing corporate clients in employment-related litigation and transactional matters. She represents and counsels clients on issues arising under state and federal labor and employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the WARN Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. Her experience includes representing clients in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in grievance and arbitration proceedings. Libby also counsels clients on day-to-day labor and human resources issues, including severance and release agreements and review of employment policies and practices.

Libby has represented clients including General Cable Corporation, HCA, McDonald's, Nationwide Insurance, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco, Verizon, Washington Hospital Center, and WHM LLC.

Libby also has experience advising clients on labor and employment issues in transactional matters. Recent representative transactions include The Riverside Company's sale of Health & Safety Institute, Examination Management Services, Inc.'s acquisition of LepMed, Inc., and Chart Industry's acquisition of AirSep Corporation.

Libby speaks to clients on a variety of topics, including employee privacy, mandatory vaccination policies, social media, wellness programs, and EEOC updates and initiatives. She is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations and is a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law.
