Eric Enson is successfully serving his clients in some of the nation's most prominent antitrust and unfair competition matters. He has extensive experience responding to government investigations of alleged cartel activity, including price-fixing and market allocation. Most recently, Eric represented companies targeted by the Department of Justice in investigations of the auto parts and packaged ice industries, as well as other non-public criminal proceedings.

Eric also has been counsel in precedent-setting civil competition matters, such as Clayworth v. Pfizer and In re Tobacco II Cases. He served as trial counsel for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in an antitrust lawsuit alleging an unlawful group boycott, on which a jury returned a full defense verdict in 2012, and was part of the trial team that obtained a full defense jury verdict on antitrust claims filed against Macy's in In re Tableware.

Eric's experience extends to false advertising matters. He recently handled the prosecution and defense of false advertising claims between competitors in the facial aesthetics market, and he has defended consumer class actions regarding the marketing of various commercial products.

Eric serves on the Executive Committee of the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Section of the California Bar and is an active member of the ABA Antitrust Law Section, frequently writing and speaking about novel competition issues. He has been selected as one of the "Top 20 Lawyers Under 40" in California by the Daily Journal and was named a "Rising Star" in the practice of antitrust law by Law360.
