Erik Collins is counsel in the firm's Debt Finance Group. He joined Goodwin Procter in 1998.
Mr. Collins represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of complex financing transactions. His practice spans a broad range of credit facilities from a $250,000 mezzanine financing for a family owned manufacturing company to a refinancing for an NBA franchise and a $1 billion credit facility provided to a consortium of private equity funds. Mr. Collins has considerable experience representing the lead bank in syndicated senior secured credit facilities provided to borrowers in a wide variety of industries. He has represented commercial banks with respect to many capital call lines of credit to private equity funds. Mr. Collins also represents borrowers in venture lending transactions.
