Floyd Wittlin advises public and private clients in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions; public offerings and private placements of securities; federal and state securities law compliance; partnership, limited liability company and joint venture arrangements; and private equity investments.

As head of the firm’s investment management M&A practice, Floyd has been an active participant in the accelerating consolidation of the financial services industry, having represented several buyers and sellers of investment advisory and securities brokerage firms. He also has represented individuals and institutions in the formation of joint ventures engaged in the investment management business.

Floyd has represented issuers and underwriters, including Banc of America Securities, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, in more than 30 initial public offerings of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs).
