Frederick M. LaValley

Frederick M. LaValley is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Personal Law Practice. Since 1972, Mr. LaValley has concentrated his practice on advising clients in connection with estate planning, estate and trust administration, family businesses, personal tax matters, and charitable trusts.

Mr. LaValley's assignments include the management of the administration of substantial estates and trusts, including litigation, tax planning, and IRS audits; counseling clients in respect to the sale and reorganization of family partnerships and corporations, including the use of business brokers and investment bankers; and advising clients in the selection and monitoring of investment advisers for individuals, estates and trusts, and pension funds.

Mr. LaValley has prepared estate plans for individuals and drafted wills, trust agreements, powers of attorney, and partnership documents to effect such plans. He also is a private trustee of a number of personal and charitable trusts and has served as a lecturer and panelist at drafting seminars of the continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Mr. LaValley is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
