George focuses on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. Currently, much of his practice is devoted to representing pharmaceutical companies in patent infringement lawsuits across the United States. He specializes in defense of Hatch-Waxman patent infringement claims. George also represents individual and corporate clients in litigation in a variety of areas, including environmental contamination, defamation, trademarks, telecommunications, securities, franchisor/franchisee relations, trade secrets, construction, director/officer liability, and debt collection.

Before joining McGuireWoods, George clerked for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina, now Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Honorable Vanzetta Penn McPherson, now retired U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Alabama. He also served in the U.S. Air Force as a lineman, driver and crew chief on crash/fire rescue teams for four years before attending college. His military service included deployment to Saudi Arabia during post-Operation Desert Storm missions.
