Ms. Tajmiri has experience in many aspects of litigation, including discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and assisting in trials and arbitrations.

Ms. Tajmiri’s representative cases include the following:

DISH Network. Representing DISH Network in litigation against the four major television networks in the Central District of California and Southern District of New York. The cases, which involve DISH’s ad-skipping technology, have received intense media coverage from The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CNN and Time magazine, and implicate important and far-reaching copyright issues in the entertainment industry.
4over, Inc. Represented plaintiff, 4over, Inc., in state court action against a competitor and former employees for alleged trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and interference with contract, in connection with defendants’ alleged misappropriation of 4over’s customer list. The matter settled on favorable terms.
MGA Entertainment, Inc. – Represented MGA Entertainment in a case involving claims for misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement, interference with contract, unfair business practices, and RICO allegations. Assisted the Orrick team, including at trial, where MGA prevailed on its claims and obtained a $309 verdict against Mattel.

Pro Bono

Ms. Tajmiri is actively involved in Orrick’s pro bono and community responsibility efforts. She undertakes various pro bono assignments, particularly in immigration matters.
