Gregory R. Tan focuses his practice on environmental litigation, environmental compliance counseling and land use permitting. Greg represents clients in connection with civil and administrative enforcement matters under the Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and other federal, state and local laws. Greg advises clients on the environmental aspects of transactions, including environmental due diligence and negotiating environmental terms in deal documents. Greg also assists clients with land use permitting and entitlements for development projects throughout the Denver metro area.

Prior to joining the firm, Greg led numerous enforcement cases at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Atlanta regional office. Greg also counseled EPA’s regional air program on matters related to Title V permitting and NAAQS designations. Prior to his work at EPA, Greg practiced land use law in Atlanta.
