Helena Lazares is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Life Sciences Practice. Helena focuses her practice on advising insurers and healthcare providers in the defense of complex liability and high exposure cases. She has significant experience representing doctors, hospitals and healthcare entities in medical malpractice matters. In every case, Helena works closely with her clients to identify key issues at the outset of a claim and develop the best possible defense. Helena’s Life Sciences practice also includes coordination and management of mass tort cases and pharmaceutical litigation.

In addition to her Life Sciences experience, Helena also defends corporate clients and property owners in cases of personal injury, premises liability, professional malpractice and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Her ability to think critically and examine issues from multiple angles with efficiency and attention to detail allows her to effectively defend clients’ interests.
