Ms. DeKan has experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and patent infringement litigation, including case preparation, discovery, expert preparation, claim construction, patent reexamination, trial preparation, trial, and post-trial. Ms. DeKan’s litigation experience includes a diverse group of clients, including clients in the medical, Internet hosting, database software, Internet software, manufacturing and retail industries.

Ms. DeKan has extensive experience in electronic discovery, including advising clients on case and larger company approaches to the storage and production of electronically stored information [“ESI”], as well as, assisting with the implementation of internal protocols and procedures to appropriately address retention and maintenance of relevant ESI in the long term.
