Ian A. Doherty concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate, transactional and securities law matters. Ian represents and counsels clients in a diverse array of matters including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, equity and debt financing, private equity transactions, and other corporate and commercial matters. Ian also has a broad range of experience in private entity formation, corporate, limited liability, and partnership governance and SEC disclosure requirements and filings.

Ian was educated at Duke University School of Law, Class of 2006, where he was a member of the Duke Journal of General Law and Policy. Prior to that, Ian completed his undergraduate work at Duke University, Class of 2001, where he majored in Economics, earned a Certificate in Markets and Management Studies, and was a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
