Ian Shelton is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. He joined the firm in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Ian worked as a law clerk for Judge Xavier Rodriguez in the Western District of Texas and for Judge Harold DeMoss in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice focuses on appellate work and high-stakes complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes, including trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement, unfair competition, fraud, and patent infringement, in addition to other business torts. Ian has been involved in all aspects of pre-trial motion practice and discovery, taken depositions, and tried cases in state and federal courts.
