Jeffrey A. Simes

Jeffrey Simes is a partner in Goodwin Procter's Business Litigation Group and the head of Litigation in the firm’s New York Office. His practice focuses on complex business litigation, including international and domestic arbitrations, securities and corporate governance disputes, government and internal investigations, and partnership and commercial claims and disputes. Mr. Simes has worked on a wide variety of significant civil cases in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate level throughout the country, as well as in various arbitral forums in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Simes is Goodwin Procter’s National Hiring Partner, and also serves on its Partnership Committee. He maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on education, homelessness and poverty issues, and has been recognized by the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar, and the Legal Aid Society for his efforts.
