Jeremy Bohrer has broad and bespoke experience across the hedge fund, private equity, institutional asset management and financial services industry.

Simply put, his approach is different. Jeremy combines a deep understanding of the law with a sensibility that can only be obtained from having played an integral role in building, operating, monetizing, and, ultimately, winding down a highly successful commercial enterprise. In short, he has been a fiduciary and client himself.

Having spent the majority of his career as internal counsel, Jeremy is able to speak his clients' language and anticipate their needs. Jeremy served as the General Counsel of AIG's institutional broker dealer and the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Level Global Investors, L.P., a $4+ billion long short equity hedge fund.

Leveraging this first-hand experience, Jeremy's practice focuses on providing his clients with pragmatic and savvy advice ranging, for example, from SEC/ DOJ investigations and high-profile white collar defense matters; regulatory and enterprise risk assessment and management; crisis management; reputational matters and press relations; to fund formation and partnership issues; compensation and HR issues; counterparty relationships; portfolio transactions; investor activism as well as strategic deals and combinations.

Most recently, Jeremy honed his holistic, full service, representational model as the Principal of JIB Advisors, LLC, a strategic consulting firm, focused, primarily, on hedge funds, portfolio managers, private partnerships, and capital allocators.
