Jerome (Jerry) B. Tichner is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Boston office. He is a member of the Firm’s Health Industry Advisory Practice Group, which, for the past four years, has been ranked by Chambers USA as the only Tier 1 health law practice in the United States (2010–2014). Jerry was recognized by Chambers USA 2014 as an Up and Coming Healthcare Attorney. Jerry concentrates his practice on mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, dispositions and complex business transactions involving companies in the healthcare services industry. Jerry has represented healthcare systems, hospitals, private equity firms, physician practices, diagnostic imaging companies, and other health industry participants. In recent years, Jerry has participated in transactions involving sale or affiliation of over 20 hospitals nationally.

Jerry is currently a Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association's Health Law Communications Committee and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. While at Boston University, Jerry was the Executive Editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine.
