Jessica Pae Boskovich

Jessica P. Boskovich is an associate in the Employment Law Department of Paul Hastings. Ms. Boskovich has represented employers in harassment and discrimination litigation (including sex, race, national origin, disability, and age) as well as retaliation, wrongful termination, employment libel, and wage and hour class action litigation; in proceedings before federal and California state courts, the U.S. Department of Justice, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, California Labor Commissioner, and California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board; and in class action and affirmative action compliance review proceedings with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.

Ms. Boskovich has also assisted various employers, including Asian-Pacific companies doing business in the United States, achieve compliance with federal and California employment laws by reviewing and updating companywide employment policies and procedures. Ms. Boskovich represents and advises diverse clients, from major U.S. financial institutions, including investment banking firms and insurance companies, to defense contractors; high-tech companies, entertainment companies; eating and hospitality establishments; manufacturing companies; law firms; and non-profit organizations, as well as Asian-Pacific companies doing business in the United States, on major litigation as well as on day-to-day employment matters, including employee handbooks, terminations, harassment allegations, and wage and hour issues.

Ms. Boskovich received her J.D.from the University of Southern California Law School. As a member of the Southern California Law Review, Ms. Boskovich’s Note entitled "The Emasculation of Compelled Testimony: Battling the Effects of Judicially Imposed Limitations on Grand Jury Investigations of Terrorism and Other Ideological Crimes," was published in 70 S. Cal. L. Rev. 473 (1997). Ms. Boskovich also served as Executive Editor of the Southern California Law Review and served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Kelleher, U.S. District Judge for the Central District of California. Ms. Boskovich received her B.A. in English (with honors) from the Campuswide Honors Program at the University of California, Irvine, where she authored a senior thesis on medieval poetry as part of the Humanities Honors Program.
