John Cadkin focuses his practice on patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation. Mr. Cadkin has experience litigating patent infringement matters in a variety of technical disciplines including software, client/server telecommunications, business methods, building materials, and semiconductor processing. Mr. Cadkin also counsels clients in Internet-related matters such as domain name disputes and keyword advertising.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Cadkin was a planning analyst for a Fortune 500 manufacturer of integrated circuits, as well as a financial analyst for a Colorado-based high technology company. Mr. Cadkin also has significant software and application development experience in distributed databases, client-side/server-side scripting, business software, and data mining.
Mr. Cadkin was recognized as a Colorado "Rising Star" in 2014 for Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine.
