John Welch has more than 30 years of experience representing companies in a broad range of industries, primarily concentrating on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling, including executive compensation and corporate compliance programs.

In recent years, John has advised clients on M&A and joint venture activities in the aerospace and defense, technology, telecommunications, energy, and IT sectors. He has represented clients in a wide array of industries, including government contracting, media (broadcast television, cable television, and radio), financial services, manufacturing, retail, and real estate. Additionally, he has counseled both publicly traded and privately held clients in connection with internal corporate investigations.

John's diverse experience includes service as executive vice president and general counsel of a telecommunications company. As an international corporate lawyer, he has practiced law in London, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.
