ohn Fogarty is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on high-stakes litigation and trial of complex business issues. Mr. Fogarty has handled cutting-edge litigation in such areas as health-care, labor law, consumer class actions, ERISA and eminent domain. He has also handled cases involving unfair competition, RICO, entertainment law, and real estate fraud. Recently Mr. Fogarty achieved a total defense victory in a $250M+ RICO class-action lawsuit brought against a health plan.

Mr. Fogarty has been recognized in Los Angeles magazine as one of the Top Young Lawyers in Southern California. He has obtained over $47 million in total compensation for clients, including:

$7.9 million jury verdict in a real estate fraud trial involving beachfront property in Malibu.

Mr. Fogarty has represented clients before the California Court of Appeal, the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, and various California Superior Courts. He also has been deeply involved in several high-profile appeals, including a palimony action representing Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., and a matter before the Nevada Supreme Court to protect a client's $22 million inverse condemnation judgment.
