Joseph C. Schmelter

Joe Schmelter is the Partner-in-Charge of Venable's Tysons Corner office and co-chairs the firm's Government Contractor Services Industry Group.

Mr. Schmelter focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt finance and general corporate representation, primarily in the industries of aerospace, defense, government services, IT and financial institutions. Diligence, thoroughness, and congeniality inform his work on complex matters with clients and their counterparties.
