Mr. Persinger’s practice focuses on federal, state and city tax controversy and tax litigation matters. He has handled audit issues, administrative appeals, tax litigation and collection matters involving public corporations, individuals and tax-exempt organizations.
Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Persinger served as a trial attorney for the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice. Mr. Persinger received his LL.M. in Taxation and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He graduated from Xavier University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration. He is a member of the bars of New York and West Virginia.
