Victoria L. Zellers

Victoria L. Zellers joined Cozen O'Connor's Philadelphia office in July 2006 and is a member in the Labor & Employment Group. Victoria currently serves as Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative and she leads firm wide efforts to increase opportunities for women’s advancement within the firm and the profession.

Victoria represents and counsels management clients in all areas of labor and employment matters. Victoria has significant federal and state court litigation experience representing both private and public employers under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the Fair Labor Standards Act and various other employment-related claims. Victoria litigates the full-range of individual cases to class action lawsuits.

Victoria also has extensive experience representing employers in restrictive covenant and misappropriation of trade secret cases. She has successfully represented employers in obtaining temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in restrictive covenant and misappropriation of trade secret cases. Through her involvement in misappropriation of trade secret cases, Victoria developed a command of computer forensic investigations as well as e-discovery protocols, practices and procedures.

Victoria also handles administrative matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and New Jersey Division of Civil Rights. Likewise, Victoria represents employers in discharge and contract interpretation arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association.

Victoria also acts as an independent investigator hired to investigate complaints of discrimination, harassment and other workplace misconduct.

Victoria received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from James Madison University. She earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, cum laude, where she was a member of the International and Comparative Law Journal. She also received the Stewart P. Keeling Award for receiving the highest GPA in her graduating class for the third year of law school.
