William G. Gandy

Bill Gandy is the regional managing partner of the McLean office. He focuses his practice on product liability litigation, including mass tort and toxic tort cases, and on commercial and employment matters, particularly in the higher education sector. Bill is a resolute advocate for his clients and frequently is retained by clients facing catastrophic injury lawsuits. He has tried more than 50 cases to verdict and regularly represents insureds and self-insured companies in complex, high-exposure matters.

Before entering private practice, Bill was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C., where he acquired strong investigative skills that have been a key to his success in litigating complex cases for his clients. He also previously served as an assistant district attorney in Rochester, NY, where he gained practical trial experience that he continues to draw upon in his civil litigation practice and in mentoring young lawyers who work with him.
