William L. Wortmann

William L. Wortmann is Of Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm's Corporate Department.
Mr. Wortmann's practice includes representation of both public and private companies in debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital transactions. Mr. Wortmann also advises clients on general corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance issues.
Mr. Wortmann earned a J.D. degree magna cum laude in 2002 from the University of Minnesota School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an Articles Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Global Trade. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Mr. Wortmann is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
