William N. Federspiel

Will's practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, including trademark and trade dress, copyright, and patent matters. Will has assisted clients in a wide variety of Internet-related matters and has significant experience in handling cybersquatting complaints under the Uniform Doman-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy. He has also counseled clients regarding counterfeiting and gray market issues in the U.S. and abroad. Will regularly handles trademark matters in countries around the world, including is experienced in assisting clients with trademark matters in China.

He served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Louise W. Flanagan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Prior to that, Will was a policy analyst for the American Heart Association and a research analyst for the Democratic National Committee.
