Jeffrey S. Hydrick

Jeffrey Hydrick is counsel in the Washington, DC office of BuckleySandler LLP, where he represents bank and non-bank financial services clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on mobile payments and bank outsourcing arrangements.

Mr. Hydrick’s transactional practice covers all facets of the payments business, including:

Development and implementation of bank and non-bank consumer payment products and services
Issuance and distribution of credit, debit and prepaid products
Structuring of payment processing arrangements, bank outsourcing of a variety of payment product-related activities
Negotiation of financial and participation arrangements with payment networks
Merchant acquiring transactions

Over the past several years, Mr. Hydrick has developed significant experience building strategic alliances between emerging and traditional payments companies, particularly in the mobile payments area. Mr. Hydrick's transactional work also includes mortgage and student lending, as well as traditional M&A activities and advising clients on a variety of corporate issues.

Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Mr. Hydrick was counsel at an AmLaw 100 firm, where he handled corporate and transactional matters.

Mr. Hydrick received his J.D. from Harvard University in 1996 and his B.B.A. from the University of Miami in 1993 (magna cum laude).
