Sander Ash is special counsel in Kasowitz’s Real Estate – Transactional Practice Group. He represents private developers, institutions, funds, public REITs, other public companies and high net worth individuals in a variety of complex matters involving office, hotel, retail, residential, and other aspects of real property, including multi-state and cross border transactions. Mr. Ash also represents lenders and borrowers in term and construction financings, private placements, REMIC, and other mortgage bonds, senior, subordinate, unsecured and convertible debt, loan assumptions, and workouts; developers and other owners in substantial development and construction projects; and tenants and landlords in office, retail and other commercial lease transactions including bondable leases, sale-leasebacks and occupancy leases. Additionally, Mr. Ash serves as an advisor to buyers and sellers of direct and indirect interest in all major and certain specialty categories of real estate.
