William F. Branch

William concentrates his practice in the areas related to estate and gift tax matters, estate planning and fiduciary tax administration.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, William completed a 32-year career as an estate tax attorney with the IRS, serving the last eight years as the group manager for the Virginia-West Virginia District, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. He also taught Federal Tax Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.
