Ying Geneve DuBois

Ying Geneve DuBois practices in the area of real estate. She is also a member of the firm's Global Hospitality, Resort and Timeshare and China practice groups. Ms. DuBois maintains an active practice in the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia. In addition to general real estate transactions, Ms. DuBois' practice focuses on representing developers and hotel companies in negotiating and drafting hotel and resort management agreements, technical services agreements and license agreements. In addition, Ms. DuBois has considerable experience in structuring branded and non-branded residential projects, including negotiating and drafting residential development agreements, residential management agreements, residential marketing license agreements, club membership documents, rental program documents and related governing documents, including bylaws, master declarations, condominium declarations and shared facilities agreements.

Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. DuBois worked as a System Analyst for Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) for three years and as a product manager for Weblink Wireless, Inc., for two years. Ms. DuBois was born and raised in China. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and was an interpreter for various Chinese delegates in negotiations with Tandy Corporation, Weblink Wireless, Inc., and several U.S. investment companies.

At Texas Christian University, Ms. DuBois received numerous academic and communication awards. During law school, she was on the Dean's List every semester. While attending law school, Ms. DuBois served as an intern for The Honorable John B. Peyton at the Dallas County Court at Law No. 2, Dallas, Texas.
